Our Story

Independent Irish Health Foods Ltd. has been in business since May 2008.

We are located in beautiful Baile Mhúirne in the heart of the West Cork Gaeltacht, operating from a 24,000 square foot warehouse, where we stock over 9,000 lines in our various departments—prepacks, chilled, frozen, ambient (food and drinks), supplements, body care, household, gifts and baby. Our products are sourced from all over the world and are categorised according to Organic, Gluten Free, Vegan and Artisan sections. We are very proud of our extensive range of Irish-produced products.

Our hardworking staff do an excellent job; we are all committed to making our company the best in its field. We do not outsource: all of our deliveries are made in company-owned vehicles driven by IIHF drivers.

Our Mission

We aim to supply independent businesses with unique products at great prices in order to help them in turn to offer an excellent service to their retail customers. Your local independent health store is generally owner-run and its staff possess a great knowledge of the products they sell and health-related matters generally—great prices are just an added bonus! We supply the majority of independent health stores in Ireland, as well as a large range of artisan, lifestyle and independent food stores, catering businesses, manufacturers and many more.
