Pad Thai is a very popular dish from Thailand, which is also known as ‘kway teow pad thai’, meaning Thaistyle stir-fried rice noodles. One reason the dish is so popular is because of its delicious contrasting flavours of sweet and tangy. It’s packed full of flavour and perfectly captures the essence of a good Pad Thai with beautiful savoury, tangy and sweet notes without adding any refined sugar.
How is it made?
Our Organic Vegan Pad Thai Sauce brings together a delicious blend of the finest quality organic ingredients. We wanted to create a 100% plant-based product and make it without adding refined sugar, which is very common in conventional sauces. The ingredients in a regular Pad Thai sauce include tamarind, palm sugar and fish sauce. For Clearspring Organic Vegan Pad Thai Sauce, we used the finest quality organic tamarind
for the sweet and tangy notes and replaced palm sugar with organic date syrup for added sweetness. We’ve also given it some depth by using rice syrup, apple puree along with savoury notes of garlic and tomatoes. Our Organic Vegan Pad Thai Sauce
beautifully captures the different taste sensations of a traditional Pad Thai, while being organic, vegan and with no added refined sugar. Try stir-frying 3 tbsp with 50g of our brown rice noodles, or use it as a marinade for delicious grilled tofu and vegetables.
